Every photo published on Nordpix is available to license under three clear tiers. The Editorial license (€45) covers news articles, blog posts and non-commercial publications — attribution required. The Commercial license (€120) covers advertising, social media campaigns, websites and any commercial use with no attribution required. The Print & Wall Art license (€85) covers fine-art prints, home décor, canvas and physical products with unlimited print runs. All rights are perpetual — no subscription, no renewal fees.
After completing payment via Mollie, you receive a secure download link for the full-resolution watermark-free original file. All media is stored on EU infrastructure (Hetzner Object Storage) and invoiced in EUR — fully GDPR-compliant. Nordpix pays photographers 60% royalty on every sale, more than double the rate offered by major US stock platforms.

- The Editorial license (€45) covers news articles, blog posts, books and any non-commercial publication where the image illustrates a factual story. Attribution to the photographer and Nordpix is required. It does not cover advertising, social-media campaigns or commercial product use — for those, choose the Commercial license (€120).
- Can I order a fine-art print of a Nordic photo?
- Yes. The Print & Wall Art license (€85) covers fine-art prints, canvas, framed prints, home décor and physical products with unlimited print runs. Select the size and material on the photo detail page and Nordpix will handle production and delivery across the EU.
- Where are Nordpix photographers based?
- All photographers on Nordpix are based in or primarily shoot in the Nordic region — Norway, Sweden, Denmark, Finland and Iceland. Every photographer is verified before their work appears in the marketplace, ensuring authentic Nordic and Scandinavian imagery.
